LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A suspected serial robber who was shot several times while attempting to rob a convenience store has been released from the hospital and was arraigned in court on Monday.
Jeremy Simpson faces 14 counts of armed robbery.
Police Simpson earlier this month after they say he held employees at gunpoint while robbing Knapp's Food Mart in PRP.
The store's owner also had a gun, and shot Simpson several times. Simpson made it to his SUV and drove to another convenience store, where he collapsed in the street and asked for help.
Simpson was hospitalized and police have since connected him to more than a dozen other robberies dating back to October 2010.
