LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The city of Louisville is getting some money, thanks to Reader's Digest.

Louisville ranked 39th among voters who took part in a poll across the nation to get $1,000 to go towards a city project.

The contest lets readers share what they love about their city. Many online posts were about making improvements to the Hogan's Fountain Pavilion in Cherokee Park.
