Winter weather advisory issued for Ky.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Kentucky as a cold front bringing snow and frigid temperatures moves toward Kentucky.
Forecasters say the Louisville area can expect a rain-snow mix just after midnight, with one to two inches of snow falling Monday and the precipitation stopping by late afternoon.
National Weather Service meteorologist John Denman in Louisville said temperatures should stay at or above freezing in the Louisville area, keeping much of the snow from sticking. Denman said it won't be a huge storm.
In western Kentucky, forecasters are calling for more than an inch of snow by Monday afternoon.
In eastern Kentucky, forecasters say rain will mix with and change over to snow late Monday afternoon, with snow showers continuing through Tuesday morning. Accumulations of an inch or less are expected for most areas, but up to two inches may fall over the higher elevations along the Kentucky-Virginia state line.
