SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police have made an arrest in a bizarre meth case that led to the evacuation of the Bullitt County Judicial Center Tuesday.

Police arrested Joseph W. McMillen just before midnight on Feb. 15 and charged him in connection with a mobile meth lab found on a Bullitt County farmer's property.

When the farmer found a suspicious black bag on his property near his home, he wanted to report it to police and took it with him into the judicial center on his way to find the sheriff.

Officers noticed some bottles inside the bag and evacuated most of the building around 4 p.m.

According to the Bullitt County Drug Task Force, McMillen was easy to find - one of the bottles inside the bag was a prescription pill bottle with his name and address on the label.

Officers were sent to the address on the bottle and arrested McMillen at his home.

Members of the Bullitt County Drug Task Force cleaned up the hazardous materials.

McMillen is charged with manufacturing meth and was being held at the Bullitt County Detention Center.
