Westport Volunteer Fire Chief died of heart attack

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Westport Volunteer Fire Department Chief died in the line of duty on February 24. Supporting heroes, a non-profit organization that provides support to families of police, fire, and Emergency Medical Services personnel killed in the line of duty, said Chief Chris Stock suffered a deadly heart attack at his home. Stock had taken part in a training exercise earlier in the day.

Stock's wife is a paramedic with Metro EMS. Funeral arrangements are pending.
