Floyd County woman hurt in rollover crash

LANESVILLE, IN (WAVE) - A Floyd County woman is in the hospital after rolling her car on a country road  between Lanesville and Elizabeth around 11:40 p.m.

Floyd County Deputies found Kimberly Bley, 22 of Lanesville, partially ejected from an older model Cadillac, that was resting on it's top along SR11.

Police say it looks like Bley was driving south in the 3900 block of SR 11 when for unknown reasons, the car left the east side of the roadway, ran through a line of trees, and hit a large wood pile which caused it to roll over before slamming large tree.  The wood pile was approximately 154' from the edge of the roadway.

Bley was airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital with injuries that paramedics determined to be non-life threatening.  She was not wearing a seat belt.

This investigation is continuing.  Toxicology tests are pending.
