LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two men connected to a police chase through Louisville made their first appearance in court on March 17.
Police said that at around 4:00 p.m. on March 16, 23 year-old Jeffrey Summers hit a police cruiser, then tried to get away on foot near the intersection of 27th and Madison Street. Investigators said a woman, two children and two other males were also in the car. 19-year old Raymont Summers and a juvenile jumped out of the vehicle, ran from police and were arrested.
Jeffrey Summers is facing five counts of wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a felon, and evading police. A judge set a bond of $20,000 and assigned him a public defender.
Raymont Summers is facing charges of burglary and possession of a controlled substance. The judge set his bond at $10,000.
