LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Planning is underway for Kentucky gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffett's online fundraiser in early April.

Moffett has raised less than $100,000 for his Republican primary, which is far short of the $1,000,000 he believes he needs to run an effective campaign. The online fundraiser is being organized by the man who helped Congressman Ron Paul with his campaign fundraising.

The tea party candidate will face Senate President David Williams and Jefferson County clerk Bobbie Holsclaw in the May 17 primary.
