Louisville, KY - LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Tyler Park, one of the beautiful Olmsted neighborhood parks, is gearing up for its annual Easter Egg Hunt. It will be held Saturday April 23 at noon.
This is always a fun event for the children and grownups alike. Many crews have been cutting the grass, cleaning the restroom areas, and mulching to make the area safe and spiffy.
Even the wrought iron fence that was damaged in the ice storm of 2010 when a tree fell on it, has been replaced. One area of the park east of the bridge will be set aside for toddlers through kids as old as 12 years old.
Children are asked to bring a basket or bag for collecting eggs, line up in their age groups, then go for the hunt when the start is announced.
There is plenty for adults to do as well. Barring any bad weather, this is a perfect way to celebrate Easter!
