Trial date set for suspect in Compton murder case

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A new trial date is set for the Louisville man charged with killing a Sullivan University student.

Gregory O'Bryan was back in court April 19. He is facing murder and several other charges in Andrew Compton's death. Compton disappeared in October 2010 and police never found his body.

Investigators say O'Bryan admitted Compton died during sex and that he dumped the body.

O'Bryan's trial is set for April 2012, but he will be back in court in June for another pre-trial hearing.
