LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - On Thursday, a federal grand jury charged a second man in a federal murder and racketeering case that carries a possible death sentence.
Dion DaJuan Neal is charged with aiding and abetting murder for hire in the Aug. 19, 2005 death of LaJuante Jackson, killed by two hooded men in the Sheppard Square Housing Complex in Louisville in 2005.
Neal is accused of procuring payment for 39-year-old Ricky Kelly to kill Jackson. Kelly was charged in March. He has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors filed notice that they may ask for death sentences if he two men are convicted.
