LOUISVILLE (WAVE) - Not everyone likes mint juleps. But there's a new drink in town with a taste of Derby called the "Possibilitini" created by the Possibility City campaign and Brown Foreman.
Mackenzie Hindman Woodward stopped by the WAVE3 tent on the backside Wednesday to mix up the "Possibilitini" which is a mix of Woodford Reserve and Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur.
Here's the recipe:
In a shaker with ice add:
- 2 ounces of Woodford Reserve Bourbon (representing Bourbon Country)
- 1 ounce of Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur (this is a French liqueur which represents Louisville's relationship with France)
Shake vigorously to demonstrate how Louisville is shaking things up and is definitely a, "mover and shaker" of a City where anything's possible.
Pour into a tall Martini glass - representing Louisville's growth and potential.
Garnish with a green maraschino cherry (this represents both Louisville's sustainability and prosperity).
