LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A former LMPD detective is appealing the department's decision to fire her in January.
Crystal Marlowe was cleared of criminal charges, but was accused of falsely charging at least four people.
Chief Robert White says Marlowe mismanaged cases and violated procedure policies.
Marlowe's case was in front of the police merit board on Tuesday where a sergeant testified suspects' photos were not signed by victims or witnesses and she accepted IDs without verification.
The hearing will continue on Wednesday.
Once the board closes the hearings, they'll go into executive session and make a decision.
