LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville was the destination for science fiction and horror movie buffs as hundreds turned out for the 22nd annual Wonderfest at the Crowne Plaza.
The expo featured movie memorabilia and pop culture merchandise that spans several genres and decades. The event had a life-size replica of the "Lost in Space" robot and full size heads from characters from popular horror films. It even had two former "Bond" girls.
"Everyone can get into it," said Denise Early, who donned a snow trooper costume from the Empire Strikes Back. "From the older classic to the newer sci-fi stuff they always have something for everyone."
Wonderfest is the nation's largest sci-fi hobby show.
