LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - There are more potential problems for the Louisville mother charged with murder after she left her toddler in a hot car for several hours this weekend. The Kentucky Board of Nursing is now investigating 28-year-old Mollie Shouse to see if she misrepresented herself.
Shouse was arrested May 22 after police say her son, 2-year-old Kenton Brown, was found dead in her car the day before at the Devonshire Apartments in Lyndon.
Shouse's Facebook page listed her as a Licensed Practical Nurse, but the Kentucky Board of Nursing confirmed to WAVE 3 that Shouse is only a nurses aid.
The nursing board tells us they are investigating and Shouse could face additional charges.
