Sheckles double murder trial set to start

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Opening statements will begin June 1 in the trial of a southern Indiana man accused of a double murder in 2009.

24-year-old Ryan Sheckles is charged with the shooting deaths of Larry Morrow and Shannon Howard Morrow, Morrow's ex-wife. Jeffersonville Police say Sheckles killed Morrow and Howard in the 200 block of Walnut Street in August 2009 during a drug deal.

Larry Morrow died at the scene. Shannon Morrow died two weeks later in the hospital.
