One person hospitalized after crash involving school bus

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - One person was hospitalized this morning after an accident involving a JCPS school bus in the city's east end. It happened around 8:45 a.m. at Shelbyville Road and Moser Road.

JCPS spokesman Ben Jackey says there were no students on the bus at the time and the bus driver wasn't injured.

The back of the Taurus was heavily damaged, and MetroSafe dispatchers say one person had to be cut out of the vehicle and taken to the hospital.

No word yet on their condition.
