FRANKFORT, KY (AP) - Kentucky residents can help plant trees for the state park system without leaving home this summer.
Visitors to Odwalla Plant a Tree program online through Aug. 31 can designate a tree to be planted in Kentucky. No contribution is required.
Odwalla is donating $100,000 worth of trees to be planted across the country through the program. Website visitors will determine each state's allotment by where they choose to plant the trees. The state Parks Department says the trees will be used at parks that had winter storm damage.
Odwalla produces juices and natural health beverages as well as food bars.
