Roger graduated from Murray State University in 1986. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Production with a Minor in Journalism.
Roger worked part-time while in college at WPSD-TV in Paducah, KY operating studio cameras and doing production work while commuting to Murray State University. After graduation Roger was hired full-time in the News Department with WPSD-TV, as a Photojournalist.

Roger has covered stories all across the United States, and in 1994 accompanied the 101st Airborne to Normandy, France to shoot a Documentary on the 50th anniversary of D-Day.
Roger came to WAVE-TV in 1995. He is a Photojournalist who covers stories for our daily newscasts.
Roger was born and raised in Graves County, Kentucky
Roger and his wife (Laura) enjoy spending time with their daughter (Rhea Anne), playing golf, traveling and spending time with their dogs Owen and Mildred.
