Missing juvenile found

MOREHEAD, KY (WAVE) – A 5-year-old has been found after being reported missing Wednesday morning.

The child went missing near Sharpsburg after she walked away from her grandmother's home while her grandmother was changing clothes.

Kentucky State Police Morehead and the Bath County Sheriff's Office searched the area and located the girl across from her residence in a field off Peck's Pike Road.

The child was recovered safely and no charges are pending.
