State hires consulting firm as part of job growth plan

FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development is launching a new effort to create more jobs in the Commonwealth. They hired a consulting firm to develop a strategic plan for creating jobs in the state.

State officials say they want everyone in the state to be able to share thoughts and ideas for making Kentucky more competitive.

A series of meetings will be held across Kentucky to gather input. Dates and locations will be announced later.
