Bodies identified as Timothy M. and Roy L. Orman

Salem, IN (WAVE) - Tests indicate two dead bodies found on the property at 7600 Rosebud Road on June 22, have been positively identified as Timothy M. Ormam, 54, of 7600 Rosebud Road and Roy L. Orman, 48, of 7598 Rosebud Road, Salem, IN.

Gunshot wounds were ruled as the preliminary cause of death. Additional tests are being conducted to determine an official cause of death on both victims.

Shortly after 11:00 PM June 22nd, the Washington County Sheriff's Department received a call about two dead bodies at 7600 Rosebud Road near Salem in Washington County. When officers arrived they found the two bodies in an outbuilding on the property.

Detectives and crime scene investigators from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg were called to the scene to investigate. After interviewing several people and processing the crime scene, a detective from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg placed Timothy R. Orman and Tammy M. Spengler under arrest for murder.

The initial court hearings for Timothy R. Orman, 25, from 3912 West May Drive in Palmyra, IN and Tammy M. Spengler, 23, (last known address, 13515 Buffalo Trace Road NE in Palmyra), were held June 24th in the Washington County Circuit Court.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department, Washington County Prosecutor's Office and Washington County Coroner's Office are assisting detectives and troopers from the Indiana State Police as the investigation continues.
