RISING SUN, Ind. (AP) - An autopsy on the pilot of a helicopter that went down in southeastern Indiana shows no health issues are considered to have contributed to the crash.
Indiana State Police spokesman Sgt. Noel Houze says the autopsy on 60-year-old Joseph Ohnheiser of Sadieville, Ky., was performed Sunday morning. Houze says final results won't be available for several weeks but preliminary autopsy results didn't reveal any evidence of a medical event that might have contributed to the crash Saturday.
Houze also says investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board they spent the day going through the wreckage at the crash site near the town of Rising Sun before removing the aircraft from the scene.
Ohnheiser was the lone occupant of the helicopter.
