Green denies allegations, wants ethics violations case dismissed

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Late Thursday afternoon, First District Councilwoman Judy Green asked for the ethics violation case against her that is now before the Metro Council to be thrown out.

The council has started to try to remove Green after the Louisville Metro Ethics Commission found her guilty of violating ethics policies. It said she hired family member and misused funds given to the group, 100 Black Men.

In the filing, Green denied allegations of any wrongdoing and asked for a hearing to dismiss the matter.
