Young crash victim laid to rest

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Funeral services were held Friday for a Kentuckiana toddler killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in Hardin County.

Sidolena Martinez was laid to rest in Carrollton. Investigators say she was not in a child seat when she was thrown from the SUV her father was driving near Glendale on July 22.

Police say 22-year-old Arturo Martinez-Rodriguez was driving under the influence and is facing charges in his daughter's death.
