LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Family and friends gathered in the Park Hill neighborhood Sunday afternoon to remember the life of Tyrone Cheatham. Cheatham is the victim of a cold case homicide, he was stabbed to death in May of 2005 in Louisville's Norfolk neighborhood.
Sunday's celebration of his life also intends to keep public attention on the case. Kentucky State Police are distributing playing cards to inmates that feature cold cases from across the state. Cheatham's case is one of them. He is the is the four of clubs.
Cheatham was a father of seven. His mother, Sandra, doesn't know why anyone would want to kill him.
