Thousands still without power, possibly until Wednesday

LOUISVILLE (WAVE) - Thousands of people are waking up again to no power Monday morning, and it may be Wednesday before crews can get all the lines repaired damaged by Saturday's storms.

LG&E crews, and additional crews from out of state staged for another day of hard work early this morning in South Louisville, while 34,000 LG&E customers still wait for their power to be restored.

Many traffic lights are also still out, which may make the morning commute a tricky one.

Duke Energy reports about 1,500 customers without power in Clark and Floyd Counties.
