No delay in Green removal hearing

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man who will present the case for removal against Councilwoman Judy Green said has no way to her request for a 30-day delay.

Derwin Webb, Green's attorney, filed a request to delay the hearing because of undisclosed health reasons. Citing federal privacy guidelines, Webb said he cannot say what Green's health problems are and doesn't think it should be public knowledge.

"This is a motion to give her the opportunity to get her things in order so that she can proceed," said Webb. "This is not, I repeat this is not a delay tactic as ive heard so any times."

Several council members have sworn out a complaint against Green charging her with misconduct.
