LOUISVILLE (WAVE) – Humana is adding 300 new jobs in Louisville.
The bulk of the full-time jobs are in Humana's Medicare call center. They include customer care specialists and frontline supervisors. 100 Information Technology positions are also available.
These new positions are expected to increase Humana's Louisville workforce to about 10,800 by the end of 2011.
"Our Medicare business continues to grow and the expansion at our Louisville Medicare operations center ensures that our Medicare members and health care provider partners will continue to receive the best possible service we can deliver," said John Brown, vice president of Humana's Medicare service operations. "Our aim is to provide perfect service, for every member every day."
