House fires keep crews busy this morning

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Fire crews were busy Friday morning after two house fires broke out in the Metro.

MetroSafe dispatch says a fire broke out around 7 o'clock at a home in the 3700 block of Carpenter Drive in Okolona. That's just west of I-65 north of the Snyder.

It's not clear what sparked the blaze, but fire crews say it started in a wall.

Four people were in the home at the time of the blaze. Fortunately, everyone got out ok.

Fire crews also responded to a fire at a home in the 100 block of Johnson Road in Eastwood around 7 this morning.

There is no word on what caused that fire. No one was hurt in that fire either.
