FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

The Butler County Sheriff's Office says bones found during a search for Katelyn Markham are that of a deer.

Searchers going through an overgrown area on Sunday found the bones.

Police reportedly removed some evidence, but determined the bones to not be human.

Markham has been missing since mid-August. Hundreds of volunteers have been out looking for her since her disappearance.

Markham is 5'3" and 130 pounds with green eyes and brown hair with blonde highlights.
