LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A documentary about the 1988 Carrollton bus crash will begin production in a Louisville studio on Friday.
Thanks to donations from Kentucky State Police and other funds, producers will begin interviewing survivors and family of those killed in the May 14, 1988 crash on Interstate 71 in Carroll County. Also being interviewed are the first responders who were on the scene.
Among those slated to be interviewed is Harold Dennis, who was later a walk-on star for the University of Kentucky football team.
"Impact: After The Crash" will also feature Karolyn Nunnallee, who lost a daughter in the crash and went on to become the president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
