Southern Indiana man accused of stabbing his wife appears in court

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - The man who is accused of murdering his wife in front of their children appeared in a Clark County courtroom on Monday.

A judge ordered Edward Dale Bagshaw to be held without bond on a preliminary charge of murder. His next court date is November 16 at 1:30 p.m.

Police say Edward stabbed his estranged wife, 30-year-old Kelly Bagshaw, as she tried to pick up their children at the Lafayette Square Apartments.

The children are in the custody of the Edward's mother.
