Update 8:30 a.m.: Health Department officials say they are still investigating the cause and not ruling anything out. They are investigating the food that was served overnight as a possible cause.
SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - More than two dozen workers at the Zappos.com warehouse were taken to the hospital overnight.
Mike Phillips with Bullitt County's Emergency Management Agency says 26 workers developed flu-like symptoms early Monday morning, and were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.
Phillips says they don't know if the cases are connected, or if those who got sick even worked in the same part of the plant.
Workers are still at Zappos, and shifts changed around 5:00 a.m. Monday morning.
The Bullitt County Health Department and EMA officials are meeting shortly with our crew on the scene.
