MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - Donte Poole scored a career-high 28 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead unbeaten No. 15 Murray State to an 82-74 victory over Tennessee Tech on Saturday.

Isaiah Canaan added 24 points as the Racers (18-0, 6-0 Ohio Valley Conference) set the school record for longest winning streak in school history, surpassing the 17 in a row by the 2009-10 team. Tennessee Tech (11-7, 3-2) was picked as the preseason favorite for the Ohio Valley Conference, with Murray State picked to finish third.

Kevin Murphy and Jud Dillard had 19 points for Tennessee Tech, which tied the game seven times. Dillard also had 12 rebounds for the Golden Eagles.
