LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman involved in a controversial shooting by a constable at Walmart is now facing robbery charges.
Tammy Jamian, also known as Tammy Ortiz, as arrested at the K-Mart on Outer Loop last Saturday.
She gave officers the last name Jamian, but records show she's given several different names in the past including Ortiz.
In early November Ortiz was shot by off duty Constable David Whitlock at the Walmart in southwest Louisville.
Whitlock says he was asked by store security to stop Ortiz because she had stolen items from the store. He claims Ortiz ran over his foot in the parking lot and he fired his gun hitting Ortiz in the face and arm.
