Couple arrested in Clarksville bank robbery

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Police in Floyd County have arrested a couple they said is responsible for a Clarksville bank robbery.

The robbery happened Dec. 7, 2011 outside the PNC Bank on Eastern Boulevard.

Investigators tell WAVE 3 a witness saw a man try to yank a woman's purse out of her arms causing her to fall to the ground and injure her head.

Clarksville and New Albany police worked together to track down Paul and Robin Denny to a home in Floyd County.

Both are facing charges of felony robbery.
