JCPS bus involved in injury accident in St. Matthews

Scene of school bus crash at Shelbyville Road and Hubbards Lane

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A JCPS bus has been involved in an injury traffic accident in St. Matthews. The accident involving bus No. 9972 happened at Shelbyville Road and Hubbards Lane and was reported at 7:38 a.m.

St. Matthews Police say one injury has been reported onboard the bus. However, Ben Jackey, a JCPS spokesperson, tells WAVE 3 the bus had already dropped of its load of students at Waggener High School.

WAVE 3 has a crews heading to the scene and will update this story as information becomes available.
