Nashville's street newspaper, The Contributor, is one of the most successful of its kind in the country.
This week, the paper is celebrating something new.
Beginning Wednesday, it will be published twice a month instead of just once.
The Contributor is sold by homeless and formerly homeless newspaper vendors.
The first issue was published in 2007, and the support of the community has made it a huge success.
"The city has been so supportive of the vendors. They buy so many papers, they love what we're doing, they love the vendors so much that they've become friends with them and really formed relationships with them across that socioeconomic boundary, which is really powerful," says Andrew Krinks of The Contributor.
The papers sell for just $1 each, so be sure to pick one up the next time you run into a vendor.
