Man charged with stealing ATM

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A 25-year-old Louisville man is facing charges of stealing an automatic teller machine from a west Louisville business.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Henry Crawford broke into Red Dog Liquors in the 1400 block of Hemlock Street late Monday and stole the machine from the business.

After taking the ATM, police said Crawford went across the street and tried to break into it, before fleeing.

Crawford was arrested a short time later.
