'Person of interest' identified in Clarksville fires

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Clarksville police detectives and arson investigators say they have person of interest in three suspicious fires set on Tuesday. 

Firefighters were called out around 4 a.m. for the report of a garage on fire near 1600 Blackiston Mill Road. 

When firefighters arrived, they got calls about another garage and a shed in the same neighborhood that were also set on fire.

Investigators said whoever did set those two fires also tried to set some lawn furniture on fire.
