Charges dismissed against a man accused of murdering his wife

TAYLORSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Charges against a Spencer County man accused in the death of his wife have been dismissed without prejudice.

Raymond Revard's can be retried for his wife, Lea's, death.

In January of 2009, investigators say Raymond called 911 to report his wife had shot herself, but the coroner later ruled Lea Revard's death a homicide.

A grand jury had indicted Raymond for the murder and tampering with evidence.
