Time Warner Cable and Insight merger approved

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - WAVE 3 news has confirmed Time Warner Cable's merger with Insight.

The Federal Communication Commission approved the merger on Wednesday.

Insight tells us the deal will close soon and a spokesman says current Insight customers will "reap the benefits other Time Warner Cable customers have across the country."

Insight serves Louisville and other communities in the area.
