LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The case against a former Okolona Titans youth football league president is now going to a grand jury.
In court Monday, a judge decided there was enough evidence to assign the case against Eric Mason to a grand jury.
Allegations against Mason first came to light in October, after parents of some of the 130 children in the league reached out to the local media for help.
They claimed more than $14,000 went missing from the league's bank account.
Bank records show from April to August of last year, Mason took out hundreds, even thousands of dollars at a time with no record of what he spent it on.
