Church in southern Indiana moves to a new home

SANTA CLAUS, IN (WAVE) - A 132-year-old church was on the move Wednesday morning.

MCF House movers of Petersburg, Indiana, very slowly transported the 1880 church. Deutsch Evangelist St. Paul's Kirche moved just under one-half of a mile to its new home in Santa Claus Park.

The old country church joins the town's newly-restored 1935 Santa statue plus the Santa Claus Museum, founded by Holiday World matriarch Pat Koch.
