FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - Kentucky Attorney Jack Conway has announced that the Commonwealth in one of the 49 states that will participate in a national foreclosure settlement that was brokered by the Obama administration.
In one of the larges out of court settlement ever, five of the nation's biggest banks agreed to pay $25 billion to victims of home foreclosure abuses.
Officials say the banks will have 3 years to fulfill the terms of the deal.
Oklahoma is the only state that was not included in the deal and will receive no money.
