Charges dropped against teen accused of sexually abusing classmate

CHARLESTOWN, IN (WAVE) - A southern Indiana teen accused of sexually abusing a classmate at Charlestown High School is a free man.

The charges against Matthew Whisman were dropped by the state of Indiana.

Another teen charged in the case, Billy Hutsell, pleaded guilty in the rape case. He was put on probation and arrested again for failing to register as a sex offender.
