WHITELY CITY, KY (WAVE) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fire at a southern Kentucky home that killed a disabled teen, his caregiver and injured another person.

The fire began at 4:12 a.m. inside a home occupied by the caregiver, two mentally disabled men and a mentally disabled 17-year-old.

The caregiver was pronounced dead at the scene.  One adult man and the teenager were transported to the Saint Mary's Hospital in Scott County, TN, where the teenager was pronounced dead.  The other man was uninjured.
