LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The U.S. Secretary of Defense is coming to town to speak to students and community members at the University of Louisville.
Leon Panetta will be in Louisville on March 1 for a public talk in Cardinal Arena on the Floyd Street side of the Swain Student Activities Center.
Panetta's address will begin at 7:15 p.m. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets can be requested through the McConnell Center by clicking the highlighted link.
Panetta was sworn in as the nation's 23rd defense secretary in July. Previously, he had served as director of the Central Intelligence Agency and was White House chief of staff for three years during the Clinton administration.
