Man charged for storing over $100,000 in stolen property

SHEPERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Bullitt County man is in hot water after being charged with storing some hot items.

38-year-old Stafford Benjamin Maraman was arrested on Feb. 14. Maraman is charged with receiving stolen property valued up to $150,000.

Police are not saying what they items are or where they were stolen from.

More information on the case, including whether it is tied to a larger Bullitt County theft ring, is expected next week.
